Long Pine State Recreation Area

Long Pine is a 153-acre tract of Pine Ridge land straddling Long Pine Creek. The area offers primitive camping, fishing, hiking and an archery range.

Hunting opportunities at Long Pine include deer, rabbit, squirrel and turkey on 160 acres of land.

Hiking

Long Pine State Recreation Area is home to a one-mile scenic hiking trail.

Picnicking

Long Pine is a popular day use spot and offers 50 picnic tables, 28 grills and five shelters.

Archery

An archery range is available in the northern section.

Camping

Primitive camping
Long Pine offers primitive camping. It has eight camping pads without electricity, as well as 21 non-pad sides without electricity. All primitive camping is first-come, first-served. No reservations.
