The Gosper County Fair is held in Elwood every year generally at the end of July. The town owns its own carnival and volunteers from town work to host the fair and run the rides, games and concession stand. People come from miles around to attend this yearly event. Tickets currently cost $1 and other than food items each ride or game is only one ticket.
