The public is invited to attend “Concert in the Courthouse,” a free family-friendly event at 1 p.m. at the Stutsman County Courthouse State Historic Site, 504 Third Ave. SE, Jamestown.
Terry and Linda Schwartz and friends will entertain in the courtroom with original music, bluegrass tunes, and cowboy poetry. The Schwartzes songs have a pleasant, down-home and earthy warmth about love, family, and their farming way of life.
Built in 1883, the historic Stutsman County Courthouse is home to a unique hands-on exhibit about civics and local government. It is North Dakota's oldest surviving courthouse and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
