Our Mission

The mission of the National Women’s Theatre Festival (National WTF) is to create, produce, and promote extraordinary, inclusive theatre by women and all underrepresented genders. Our ultimate goal is 100% parity across the theatre industry.

To help achieve parity, we strive to grow and support a truly diverse community of theatre artists and audience members. We do this by creating and platforming extraordinary work by underrepresented-gender artists; by providing educational programming and early-career opportunities to grow the pipeline of underrepresented-gender artists; and by promoting socially radical resources, solutions, and technologies to provide equal access to all.
