Run for the Word 5K
Course:
The Run for the Word 5K course will start on Zion Street, across Highway 153 from Trinity Lutheran Church (108 W. Rice Street, Landis NC 28088). Turn right on Hoke Street, right again on Kimmons Street, and another right on Rice Street. Continue to Highway 29 Business and turn left. Follow for 1.1 miles to the turnaround in the parking lot at Hogan's Cabinetry. Retrace the route back to Landis for 1 mile and turn right on Ridge Avenue and then left on Zion Street to finish beside Trinity Lutheran, the host facility. This is a fast and flat course!!
Awards - Immediately following the race: Top 3 Overall Male and Female. Overall Masters Male and Female. 5K Top 3 Male and Female participants in each age division.
1/2 Mile Fun-Run Top 3 Male and Female ages 12 and under.
AGE GROUPS 5K: 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
