About Us:

The Nesbitt Christmas Tree Farm has been in operation for over 45 years. We originally shipped most of our trees on the wholesale market but found that the retail market allowed us to meet and greet repeat customers year after year, thus, we sell all our trees retail right here on our family farm!

We are both a "choose and cut" farm as well as pre-cut tree farm for those who do not want to walk and cut their own tree. We will be happy to assist you in cutting and hauling the tree up to load. You must arrive by 4:30 pm in order to walk and choose. We allow no one down to search for their tree after that time due to potential injury due to the rapid darkness of this time setting in. Once we reach our designed number of choose and cut trees, we will only have precut trees available. Once that happens, we will update our website to announce this so check the morning before coming to visit. It is important to know that our farm is located in the mountains of Western North Carolina and sturdy shoes are necessary to walk around our mountain searching for your tree. If your family will be visiting in more than one vehicle, we appreciate parking extra cars at the church coming up the mountain and either riding in one or walking up. Our parking is limited and gets tricky, especially Thanksgiving weekend.

We do provide bow saws to cut with but for those who prefer to dig their tree, please bring your own shovel and burlap to ball your tree with. No personal chainsaw use is allowed.
