The Friends of John Coltrane, Inc. work tirelessly to ensure the very best artists, representing contemporary, modern and mainstream jazz, are brought to the stage each year at the John Coltrane International Jazz and Blues Festival, making the festival the premiere entertainment destination in the Southeast. Throughout the organization’s history, members have engaged leaders of the business, arts, civic and nonprofit communities to celebrate the legacy of iconic saxophonist, composer, and High Point native son, John Coltrane.
