Investigations with Water

Are you curious? Have you ever wondered why plants need water? How does it get inside the plant when it just appears to drip off the leaves? Why do some plants need a lot of water, while others hardly need any at all? Are all liquids good for plants?

Experiments are a fun way to look for an answer to a question or to test an idea. You may be surprised to find that you are more than able to answer many of the questions you have by yourself or together with friends.

Join us for Garden Science this fall where together, we'll design and complete a variety of hands-on plant experiments to learn about the scientific method and get answers to our burning questions!

Garden Science is a series of programs for students to dive deeper into a garden topic. Each week's program is a stand alone program, but it's more fun to come to all of them! Meet new friends and spend some time in the garden learning.
