Freedom Fest
Freedom Fest is a family-friendly 4th of July event on Everett Street in downtown Bryson City, NC. Check out the Independence Day street schedule of events:
8:00a.m: Annual Bryson City Rotary Club Firecracker 5K, a run leaving from Riverfront Park downtown and traveling through the Deep Creek area and return. Get race details.
10:00a.m, the Street festival begins and includes
Arts and crafts vendors include pottery, woodworking, photography and art, jewelry, stained glass, and more.(Craft vendors close at 6:00 PM)
Food vendors will sell festival favorites, including funnel cakes, shaved ice, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, BBQ, kettle corn, and more.
Visit our restaurants or food trucks for dining indoors, on a patio, or at shady picnic tables or pavilions.

Leashed dogs are welcome at this event, however please be mindful of the hot pavement, which could be as hot as 120 degrees. Do not leave dogs in your car; if you are coming for the fireworks, make sure your dog is comfortable with loud sounds. Please bring water for your dog.
