Festival D'Avion

The Festival D'Avion is a celebration of freedom and flight at the Moore County Airport in Carthage, N.C., located just outside Pinehurst.

Marking its sixth year in 2024, the Festival D'Avion features classic and military aircraft displays, flyovers, precision jump teams, sightseeing tours, classic car displays, live entertainment, a “Junior Pilot” KidsZone, local vendors, food trucks, and fun for the entire family!

Schedule Of Events

10:00 am: Festival D'Avion Gates Open
10:00 am to 4:00 pm: Static Aircraft Displays, Classic Car Displays, Kids Zone, DJ Music
Ward, Truck or Treat for Kids, 501st Legion Characters, Food Trucks, and Military and Vendor Displays
11:00 am: to 2:00 pm: Amelia Earhart Pavilion open for lunch VIP (Wristband Required for Entry).
12:00 pm: Opening Ceremonies featuring the 82nd Division All American Chorus, Bandit Flight Team Flyover, and the Children of Fallen Heroes Precision Jump Team
12:00 pm: to 12:30 pm: 82nd Division All-American Chorus performs on the Festival Stage
1:15 pm: Children of Fallen Heroes Precision Jump Team
2:30 pm: Children of Fallen Heroes Precision Jump Team
2:45 pm: Children of Fallen Heroes Kids in Costume Group Photo near the Festival Stage and Halloween Costume Awards (Includes First Responders, Military and Families)
3:00 pm: Children of Fallen Heroes Precision Jump Team
4:00 pm: Aircraft Flyout
