Faraway Tunes

Asheville Baroque Concerts' program, Faraway Tunes: Inspiration from Elsewhere, showcases eclectic repertoire of the Baroque, with English divisions by a French viol master; Spanish influences, as well as Scottish and English tunes, found in French, Italian and German works; and a Telemann quartet inspired by his eight-month stay in Paris. Performers include special guest, Anne Timberlake, recorder; Jeanne Johnson, baroque violin; Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba and Jennifer Streeter, harpsichord.
