Children’s Independence Day Parade

Bring the whole family to Durham Central Park to celebrate the Fourth of July at the Children’s Independence Day Parade! Families are welcome at 9:30 am to decorate bikes, trikes, wagons and strollers using items from the Scrap Exchange and then parade through Durham Central Park at 10:30 a.m. Pssst … there will be free popsicles and fire truck tours after the event.

And don’t leave hungry after the parade! The Glass Jug will be providing hotdogs (first come first serve) for a suggested donation of $3! Get some dogs, grab a beer and have a great start to your 4th of July celebrations!
