History & Mission

Since 2004, The Brunswick County Intercultural Festival has celebrated all aspects of cultural diversity, while honoring the rich history of Brunswick County.

The Brunswick County Intercultural Festival is an annual FREE event that brings together families, individuals, adults, children of all ages, students, schools, churches, local businesses, service providers, public officials residents of Brunswick County and surrounding areas on a journey to learn, understand, celebrate the diverse culture represented in area communities.

Its mission is to create, coordinate a comprehensive global learning environment which provides a place for cultural education, artistic enhancement and shares the music, dance, food of the diverse cultures of members of the community. This in turn fosters a better understanding, tolerance; promote awareness, respect and appreciation of each other's culture in Brunswick County and the surrounding areas.
