Musical Magic: Favorites from Disney's Fantasia

Disney's groundbreaking films Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 inspire this program of orchestral showpieces. Spirits dance and fly through the air as they are summoned to Bald Mountain. Volcanic fire rains down to the sounds of Stravinsky's colorful ballet. And who can forget Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice, casting magical spells before learning how to control them. Buckets and mops multiply and come alive in this dreamscape by Paul Dukas.
