Montana State Hemp and Cannabis Festival
ABOUT US
With the landscape of the Montana Cannabis industry changing often, the Montana State Hemp & Cannabis Festival is a place to collaborate, celebrate and educate.
After the long running Missoula Hemp Fest in Caras Park was cancelled in 2015, a local Montana family, The Crobars, decided to pick up the torch and move forward into a new era with a few intentional changes!
Taking the festival to Lolo Hot springs resort was a decision made for a few reasons. This private property resort is in the center of the Lolo National forest and offers things that no city can, including camping, hiking, disc golf, hot spring pools, a mountain creek, crystal digging, natural rock formations and so much more. The secluded nature of the resort allows us to be ourselves all weekend with no concern for curfew! In addition to all that, the resort offers limited internet at the lodge and is completely out of cell phone range, these positive features encourage face to face conversations and human connections that will last a lifetime!
The goal and mission of the Montana State Hemp & Cannabis Festival is to bring the state and the cannabis community together, and to educate those who may need to learn more about the powerful plant that is hemp & cannabis. The festival strives to support the numerous different organizations that are like-minded and encourages collaboration and unity.
The model of the Montana State Hemp & Cannabis Festival is different for a reason. The owners chose to set up a business partnership rather than a non-profit organization, to raise funds for the many nonprofits in Montana that need it, rather than compete with them for donors and funds. The Montana State Hemp & Cannabis Festival models itself after a music festival melded with a hemp festival to create perfect fusion of fun and forward progress!
With the introduction of the The Montana State Providers Cup™ in 2017, and some other new twists, the 2018 Montana State Hemp & Cannabis Festival is sure to be a time you don’t want to miss! This year’s music lineup will be packed with amazing acts and the stage will be host to speakers of all walks of the industry with a ton of different information!
