Marine Corps League Memorial Day

The Bitterroot Valley Marine Corps League and the Hamilton American Legion will be honoring our Nation's War Dead with joint Memorial Day programs in Hamilton on Monday, 29 May 2023.

The first event will take place at the Doughboy Statue in front of the Ravalli County Museum. This will include brief services, firing detail and wreath laying by local organizations, and Taps.

The second program will take place at the Main Street Bridge over the Bitterroot River, offering a brief service, firing detail, and surrendering a wreath to the river to start a journey to the sea, and Taps.

The third program is located at Riverview Cemetery where brief services are held, including firing detail and Taps.

Please note that these programs are held in order and progress as each service is ended.

Also note the Corvallis Memorial Day Parade commences at 10 am, and is preceded by a pancake breakfast at the High School.
