The 46th Annual Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival will be held in downtown Ocean Springs, Mississippi.The official guide will be listed inside the October issue of South Mississippi Living and on our website under the Festival Info tab!
Musical Entertainment
This year’s musical entertainment will be spread throughout the festival venue. Look for the official “music” signs spaced throughout.
Demonstrations
The artists of the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival are proud to showcase their works to hundreds of thousands of spectators. Many of the artists will be creating quite a show at their booths during the festival by demonstrating their works. Artists can be seen painting, sculpting and even firing up some pottery.
Hands on Marine Education
Hands on marine education area lead by the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory of the University of Southern Mississippi. Experience a variety of displays, artifacts, and hands on activities with marine education.
Raising cane’s plinko
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will be on hand with activities and more. Try your hand at Plinko and win prizes. Exhibit area will be hosted on the lawn of the Mary C.
Police box
This interactive police box is a captivating hand-crafted replica of the TARDIS from Doctor Who. Step inside and feel like you are traveling through time while enjoying delicious freeze-dried snacks from vendor Ten37-Freeze Dried Snacks located on the corner of Washington Ave and Porter Ave.
Young at Art
Children’s art market for those age eight to 18. Young art entrepreneurs exhibit their one of a kind items for purchase on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm on the grounds of the Walter Anderson Museum of Art. Shop with our young artists.
