FiiZ Drinks Opens First Mississippi Location in Madison
Family-Owned Soda Shop to Host Soft Opening on October 10th and Grand Opening on October 12th
FiiZ Drinks, the popular soda shop chain known for its wide variety of customizable drinks, is set to open its first-ever Mississippi location in Madison. The new store, located at 272 Calhoun Station Parkway, Ste. H, (in Gluckstadt), will be celebrating its soft opening on Thursday, Oct. 10, followed by a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Oct. 12. This exciting venture is owned and operated Kevin Lightheart and his three daughters—Eliza, Amanda, and Sarah—making it a true family-run business.
The grand opening on Oct. 12 will include fun activities for the whole family, such as face painting from 1 – 3 p.m., giveaways throughout the day, and a limited-time offer of free 24-ounce drinks from a select menu of six FiiZ favorites. The entire menu will also be available for purchase.
The Lightheart family plans to open at least three FiiZ Drinks location in the greater Jackson area, ensuring that each of the three sisters will eventually have their very own FiiZ Drinks location. The Madison store marks the first of these three locations.
“We’re incredibly excited to open our first FiiZ in Madison and even more thrilled that this is just the beginning,” said Eliza Lightheart. “Each of us will have our own store, and we can’t wait to grow alongside this amazing brand.”
Eliza shared her personal excitement for the business, recalling her first FiiZ experience. “My sisters and I fell in love with soda shops while we were out West in Utah, and I still crave the Diet Dr. Pepper with strawberry purée and vanilla that I had at FiiZ. We knew we had to bring this fun and unique experience to our community.”
The Lighthearts are bringing their family-oriented approach to the new 1,500-square-foot store, which will provide a fun and welcoming environment for all ages, particularly teens and college students. With several local high schools nearby, the family hopes FiiZ Drinks will become a go-to hangout spot for students. The shop also features a drive-thru for customers looking for a quick and convenient way to enjoy their favorite drinks.
“This has been a true family effort,” said Kevin Lightheart. “We wanted to do something together, and FiiZ Drinks was the perfect fit for us. We’re excited to be part of the Madison community and look forward to providing not only great drinks but also a fun place for people to gather.”
In addition to providing a welcoming space for the community, the Lightheart family will create 20-25 part-time jobs for local high school and college students, further strengthening their commitment to the community.
