Located just south of Meridian near the Mississippi-Alabama state line, Clarkco State Park has been a favorite Mississippi recreation spot since 1938. Situated on 815 acres of gently rolling woodlands, Clarkco State Park offers camping, cabin rentals, and water sports in a convenient yet unspoiled location, providing the perfect retreat for an afternoon or weekend getaway.

Clarkco offers a 9 hole disc golf course.
Nature Trail
A well-marked, five mile nature trail encircles Clarkco State Park, affording a close look at Mississippi flora and fauna. The trail is sectioned for shorter walks of less than a half-mile. There is an observation tower at the upper end of the lake. Bicycles are permitted as long as they yield to foot traffic.
Picnic Area
Sixty picnic sites featuring tables, barbecue grills, and playground equipment are located in a shaded area surrounding Clarkco Lake. Three large picnic pavilions are available by reservation. The pavilions provide the ideal spot for company picnics, family reunions, and church and school outings. Kitchen facilities may be reserved for a fee.

Two lighted tennis courts are available for day or night play. There is also a basketball goal available.
Water Activities
Boat Launching
Clarkco Lake offers 65 acres of freshwater fishing and other water sports. A boat launch is available for persons with their own boats.
Fishing
Clarkco Lake offers 65 acres of fresh water for fishing and water sports. The lake is stocked with bass, bream, and catfish. A Mississippi fishing license is required for all persons between the ages of 16 and 65. Licenses may be purchased at the park office.
Water skiing
Water skiing is permitted daily between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. (limited to 115 HP).
No Jet-Skis Allowed.
Splash Pad
Zero-depth cool water spray is splashing good fun for the entire family. The splash pad is operated seasonally and is open daily from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The splash pad is free however the normal day use entrance fee is charged.
