The 7 Best Bookstores in Mississippi!

ms bookstores

There's nothing like the neighborhood book store—a place for like-minded literary lovers to gather and share their finds. The smell instantly transports you back to childhood, exploring other worlds through the pages of a favorite book. Mississippians know good literature—we boast literary giants such as Eudora Welty, Tennessee Williams, John Grisham, and so many more. It only stands to reason that we would have bookstores that are just as impressive. Here are 7 of the best spots to find a great read.

Square Books (Off Square Books, Square Books Jr.), Oxford, MS

Square Books opened in Oxford's town square in 1979, and it's been feeding the love of reading ever since. Enjoy coffee or tea on the balcony while you read.
