Experience a vibrant fall celebration at Wyatt Earp Fallfest on October 5th, 2024, held at the northeast corner of the Lamar Downtown Square. This lively event honors Lamar's renowned first constable with a day full of activities for all ages. Stroll through various craft vendors showcasing handmade goods and indulge in a selection of delicious fall-themed foods. Watch the Wild West come alive with a fun dog show, baby and toddler show, and engaging reenactments and skits. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a perfect autumn day in the spirit of the Wild West!

Wyatt was Lamar's constable, following his fathers resignation, in 1869. While his time in Lamar he married Urilla Sutherland, after a turn of unfortunate events with the death of his wife and unborn child. Wyatt left Lamar heading west starting the journey of what would become one of America's frontier legends
