Shoal Creek Water Festival

This collaboratory event between Wildcat Glades Nature Group, Stealth Creative, Missouri American Water, the Missouri Department of Conservation, and the Joplin Parks department is bound to leave you wet behind the ears! Join us for cardboard boat races, shoebox boat races, a rubber duck race, a fishing derby, food trucks, and 20+ booths from local vendors or organizations.

Schedule Of Events

9:00 A.M.- MO Department of Conservation Kids Fishing Derby (Walter Woods Conservation Area)

9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.- Inner Tube Float, Splash and Swim – Bring one of your own, or borrow one of ours, but get out, float, and enjoy the creek!

9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.- People’s Choice Awards for Cardboard and Shoebox Boats – Come support your favorite boat and have fun doing it!

10:30 A.M.-Kids Fishing Derby Awards
