Johnson, for their new book, Flamboyants: The Queer Harlem Renaissance I Wish I'd Known on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 7PM at Unity Temple on the Plaza. Johnson will be in discussion with D. Rashaan Gilmore, founder and CEO of BlaqOut, a grassroots movement organization which seeks to organize and mobilize the Black LGBTQ community in Kansas City (Missouri) and develop a leadership core.
