In 1978, the first festival officially called Heritage Days was held. The City of Vadnais Heights has worked closely with community organizations and local businesses to host and financially support a wide variety of activities associated with Heritage Days that have continued to change according to community interest over the years.
In 2024, the festival is being rebranded to Vadnais Heights Days to more accurately reflect the current activities and re-energize the community about the celebration.
