Hopkins Raspberry Run
The Hopkins Raspberry Run was founded in 1964 by the Twin Cities Track Club founder Patrick Lanin. Today, the 5-mile follows the same traditional route around Shady Oak Lake before finishing on Main Street prior to the Hopkins Raspberry Festival parade. The Main Street Mile was introduced in 2010 and features a flat, fast course straight down Main Street with a shared finish for the 5-mile.
Proceeds from the event will benefit local youth running programs, including the Hopkins Cross-Country & Track teams and the Kids City XC League. The event is free for all youth ages 18 & under that pre-register. Discounted registration is available for all adults who register early.
