Courthouse Lake Parkrun

A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!

Course Info:

The course is an out-and-back starting near the courthouse and heading northwest for 2.5km before turning around at the Stoughton Avenue underpass. The course shares the Minnesota Bluffs Regional trail and parkrunners start out atop the exposed levee for the first 1km, before turning right into a more winding, wooded (and shady) area where a short drop takes the trail adjacent the Minnesota River. The course is mostly flat, with the river view being the lowest section. A short sharp climb up to half way takes parkrunners to the highest section, also the turning point. A fast finish awaits those with energy, with the last 1km being on the flat open levee offering a long range view of the finish.
