Corcoran Country Daze
About Corcoran Country Daze:
The Corcoran Community Fund is the producer of the festival. We formed to assist the residents of Corcoran and surrounding areas through philanthropic giving. We are a fully volunteer organization; no one receives pay for their time. We do this because we love our community and want to see all of its residents be their best.
The Northwest Area Jaycees are the originators of this festival and are an integral part of our amazing weekend as both sponsor and many of our volunteers. The Jaycees are a group of 18-40 year olds that learn leadership skills through community involvement. They are a charitable gambling organization with locations throughout the metro area.
The Corcoran Lions were kind enough several years ago to offer their incredible venue for our use. Many of their members are involved in the planning process and volunteer to help for the weekend. They host many events at their park throughout the year including tractor pulls and demo derbys. The park is also the home of the Hamel Rodeo.
