The Historical Society's Executive Director, Emily Thabes, will present an engaging program about the Federal Music Project, which operated from 1935 to 1943 as part of the New Deal.

Speaker Biography:
Emily Thabes, Executive Director of the Beltrami County Historical Society, holds a bachelor’s degree in music theory from West Virginia Wesleyan College, M.L.I.S. from Florida State University, and M.S. in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University. She has an extensive background in music, having performed both as a solo artist and as a member of amateur and professional choirs across the United States. Her deep passion for music and history promises to make this presentation both informative and inspiring.
