Wayne State Wednesday Farmers Market
The Wayne State Farmers Market got its start with two pilot days in fall 2008. In its first full season the following year, the market registered to accept food stamps (SNAP), WIC Project Fresh, and Senior Project Fresh nutrition programs. The market offers a range of affordable fresh and prepared foods and serves those who live or work on campus or elsewhere in midtown and nearby neighborhoods. The market is operated with the help of several campus and community partners.
