Vernal Pool Patrol at Bluegill Boat Launch

Be a Vernal Pool Patroller! Join For-Mar staff at our free Wilderness Inquiry event to gather data on a few vernal pools around Genesee County looking for fairy shrimp, salamanders, wood frogs, and more. We will be located at a pool close to the boat launch before the fishing dock and will hike to another pool down the paved trail. The hike will be partly flat and paved, and partly off trail. Dress for wet conditions.

Suggested for ages 12 and older.
