TriWalloon
Welcome to TriWalloon, a triathlon staged in the increasingly popular Walloon Village. The pristine waters of Walloon Lake are located between Petoskey and Boyne City, Michigan and offer a stunning setting for a triathlon. The event consists of a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike. Our races have proven to be a great event for all, from the beginner athlete who wants to attempt their first triathlon, to the seasoned and elite athletes who race every weekend. Relay teams are also encouraged for the triathlon. Male, female and co-ed are welcomed. This event will make for the ideal destination race for all. Come for the race, stay for the weekend!
The Barrel Back Restaurant and Tommy’s Marina are serving as our gracious hosts for this family-friendly, healthy lifestyle event.
Once again, 100% of the proceeds from this race will go toward the continued work of the inner-city ministry of Bridge Street Ministries. Please visit bsmgr.org for more information about this great mission.
Now it its 6th year, TriWalloon has become a favorite with many multi-sport athletes from around the state. We started in 2017 with 120 athletes. Now, just a few years later we sell out with over 350 athletes registering each year.
TriWalloon is a family-friendly event staged out of the increasingly popular Walloon Village. The pristine waters of Walloon Lake make for a beautiful swim, the surrounding rolling hills provide for a scenic, fast, yet challenging bike course, and the run combines the beauty of a half mile of trail with fun, flat road racing. We will again be offering a duathlon option as well. The venue is second to none with Barrel Back Restaurant providing post-race food and beautiful scenery to enjoy. This race is great for the first timer, and challenging enough for the seasoned triathlete.
