Kerrytown Concert House welcomes the outstanding musicians of The Oblivion Project for the first of two performances this season – this first being a stop along their fall Album Recording Tour, and the second later in March with featured guest, acclaimed Argentine vocalist Malena Dayen!

The programs presented by The Oblivion Project explore the unique and beautiful music of the Argentine modern tango master, Astor Piazzolla. It is estimated that the prolific composer wrote over 3000 works including an opera and scores for over 40 films. Piazzolla revolutionized the traditional tango into a new style he called Nuevo Tango, incorporating elements from jazz and classical music. The musicians of The Oblivion Project are a blend of similar diverse musical backgrounds.

Don’t miss what is sure to be a thrilling evening of nuevo tango with The Oblivion Project in KCH’s intimate setting.
