Sylvan Orchard
Established 1981 Reestablished 2015
Eric Mangelsen planted 700 peach trees in 1981 on his newly purchased farmstead with his wife, Mary Anne, and his son, Leif. The peaches were inarguably the most delectable fruit in southeast Michigan. 34 years later, Leif Mangelsen replanted the orchard with a variety of cider apples and perry pears to one day create unparalleled craft beverages know throughout the world.
