49th Annual State Road Craft Show!
The State Road Craft Show was founded in 1975 by two teachers from State Road Elementary as a way to raise funds for the school. The teachers wanted a way to raise money without having the kids sell candy, wrapping paper, and other direct sale products.
Today, we are proud to say that the show has grown to accommodate over 200 booth spaces.
In 2022, we had approximately 3,500 shoppers enter the show. It is the largest fundraiser for State Road Elementary. While we do participate in other fundraisers for the school, our students still do not sell candy, wrapping paper or other direct sale products. The income from the craft show accounts for approximately 80% of the PTO’s annual budget. All proceeds from the show go directly to the State Road Elementary PTO. Due to the continued success of the Craft Show, the PTO has been able to provide technology, field trips, books, playground equipment, assemblies, and scholarships to the students and staff of State Road Elementary.
The show is staffed solely by parent volunteers. Without the help of our volunteers, the craft show could not be successful!
