This session is part of a photography series presented by For-Mar. During this 2-hour session we will be learning how to control the overall sharpness of your photos. The goal of this series is to 1) better understand the photographic process and 2) show how to apply these skills to nature photography.
We will build upon the concept of focus first introduced in Photo 101. How and where to focus is one of the components for making a photo look sharp. Both auto focus and manual focusing techniques will be discussed as well as other factors that control sharpness. Our time will be split between classroom learning and hands on practice.
The workshop is open to anyone with an interest in photography. A DSLR or Mirrorless camera with the ability to change settings is recommended. A tripod and remote release will be helpful but are not a requirement.
This workshop is led by Ted July. Ted spent his career as a teacher and a wedding and portrait photographer. Now retired, he enjoys landscapes and macro photography as well as teaching the photographic process. You can visit Ted’s website at: ImagesByTAnthony.com.
For ages 16 and up of all abilities.
