2024 Memorial Day Parade
The annual Memorial Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the Wayland State Police Post, 544 N. Main St., and concluding at the Wayland VFW, 735 S. Main St.
Cemetery Honors
If you are a Veteran and would like to take part in the cemetery honors, please arrive at the Wayland VFW by 7:15am.
Cemetery Honors Program Schedule:
- 8:00am
- Hill 8:20am
- Native American 8:50am
- Germond 9:15am
- St. Cyril & Methodias 9:45am
- Elmwood 10:15am
The parade will begin at 11:00am.
The parade will stop at the downtown four corners to perform Taps at the flag in the downtown mini-park (northeast corner of Superior/Main Streets).
12:00pm VFW Post Memorial Day Ceremony at the flags at the VFW.
12:30pm Luncheon - Public Invited
Lunch Options: Hot Dogs and/or TBD sandwich with chips.
Sandwiches $5, Hot dogs $3, Pop or Bottled Water $1 each.
