Mackinac Island Fudge Festival

For an entire weekend the Mackinac Island Fudge Festival celebrates the Island’s most famous treat and features a number of fudge-related, fun, family events. Activities include fudge-making demonstrations, fudge inspired food and cocktails, an outdoor movie, family games, and more.

Schedule:

9:00am - 4:00pm: Fire the Cannon at Fort Mackinac Sign up for a chance to be drawn at the Tourism Bureau Booth. Must the 13 years old to sign.
9:00am - 5:00pm: Be an honorary fudge maker. Learn the ins and outs of fudge making with this hands-on experience. Sign up for a chance to be drawn at the downtown Tourism bureau Booth
9:00am - 8:00pm: 15-foot coloring mural at Windermere Point
10:00am - 5:00pm: Fudge Quest. Follow the clues posted online to find a treasure box. Claim your prize at the downtown Tourism Bureau information booth from 9:00am-5:00pm While supplies last.
10:30am: Photo opportunity with Michigan Sugar Queen and Court at Original Murdick's Fudge across from Lilac Tree Suites
12:00pm: May's Candy Shop reveal of the Fudge Festival Flavor of the year. Free samples for all who visit the store. Michigan Sugar Queen and  Court will be there for photos and to celebrate.
12:30pm - 1:00pm: Fudge Tasting Blindfold Challenge at Murray Hotel. First 10 correct guesses win 1/2 lb of fudget
2:00pm: Photo opportunity with Michigan Sugar Queen and  Court at Murray Hotel Fudge
2:30pm: Photo opportunity with Michigan Sugar Queen and  Court at Ryba's Fudge - Corner shop next to Starbucks.
3:00pm: Photo opportunity with Michigan Sugar Queen and  Court at Sanders
3:30pm: Photo opportunity with Michigan Sugar Queen and  Court at Joann's Fudge Next to Nephews
4:00pm: Photo opportunity with Michigan Sugar Queen and  Court at Kilwins
8:00pm: Movie and  icecream at Fort Mackinac. Icecream, games, and Kid's Quarters begin at 8:00pm , Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory begins at 9:00 pm Free event.
