Janice Rhein Memorial Scholarship 5K

This will be the inaugural race to support the Janice Rhein Memorial Scholarship all proceeds from this event will go to the scholarship fund.  This 5K Race and Fun Walk will take place on the Almont School Campus.  Most of the course will be grass or dirt with a very limited paved portion.  You will tour all three schools, multiple sports fields, and finish on the track in the football stadium.  Both the run and walk will take place at the same time.  A Teddy Bear Trot, ¼ mile run/walk, for children from ages 2-10 will take place on the track after the completion of the 5K run/walk.  Teddy Bear participants will experience the track finish and receive a finishers’ award at the end of their race.  There will be awards for the top male and female runners as well as custom medals for the top three runners in each age division. 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69
