The Island City (Plainwell, MI)

Why is it called the "Island City"? The Kalamazoo river actually splits in two, wraps around a portion of downtown and reconnects, effectively making downtown Plainwell and island!

Be sure to explore the island City (Plainwell) in its entirety. So many wonderful local shops and watering holes on every street! We are thankful to host this annual event and shine a light on the terrific downtown Plainwell offerings.

Premium parking will be available right next to the Carnival entrance for $10 per vehicle. 100% of those proceeds will go to area nonprofits & school groups who are volunteering in that lot each day. Free public parking can be found around town as well.
