Celebrate America's Independence Day at Clinton River Park on the riverbanks in Downtown Mount Clemens! The celebration will begin at 7:30 PM on. Fireworks will begin at dusk.

Entertainment

The evening's festivities kick off with the River Sight & Sound Concert sponsored by Bloomery Cannabis. The Spooky Sterling Band will take the stage at 7:30 PM to deliver an exciting mixture of Motown, Classic Rock, and R&B music. Get ready to enjoy an upbeat fun-filled show with high-energy entertainment!

The concert and fireworks viewing take place in the Clinton River Park. The park is located along Gratiot Avenue between Crocker Boulevard and Dickinson Street, across from the Macomb County Court Building. The County property north east of the Court House at Main Street and Market Street will be available for additional seating to view the concert and fireworks.

Boat docks will be available at no charge on a first come first served basis. No reservations will be taken. Electrical and water service will be turned on at the docks during the event.

As a tradition, the city will allow blankets and tarps to reserve spaces in the Clinton River Park on Friday, June 28, after 8:00 AM Blankets or tarps placed early or measuring larger than 10' X 12' will be removed. Families are allowed and encouraged to bring their own coolers, outside food and beverages to the event. Strollers and wagons are also welcome.

Road Closures
For the fireworks, Northbound Gratiot Avenue will effectively be closed to traffic between Church Street and Dickinson between 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM. In addition, Crocker Boulevard between Northbound Gratiot and First Street, First Street between Crocker Boulevard and Dickinson, and eastbound traffic on Cass Avenue between Northbound and Southbound Gratiot will also be closed from 6:00 PM until 12:00 AM.
