iKayak Training - Become an iKayak Volunteer

You can sign up to become a trainer for Flint's first inclusive kayaking program, iKayak. A partnership between The Disability Network, Flint River Watershed Coalition, and the Genesee County Parks & Recreation Commission has provided this unique opportunity for adaptive recreation in Genesee County. iKayak is implemented under the direction of a Certified Recreational Therapist and a Certified Adaptive Paddling Instructor. Inclusive Kayak Workshops will be available this summer, taking place at Genesee County Parks Bluegill Boat Launch. All equipment, training and one-on-one support is included.

For ages 16 and up of all abilities.

Pre-registration is required by 5/29/24.
