The film Die Hard takes place at Christmas. NYPD cop John McClane visits his wife Holly in Los Angeles where she works for the Nakatomi Corporation. During the office Christmas party, a group of robbers take control of the building holding everyone hostage, with the exception of John. While they plan to perform a lucrative heist, John, unable to escape and with no immediate police response, is forced to take matters into his own hands. No outside food or drink allowed in the theatre. “Die Hard" is rated R for strong bloody violence, language throughout, some nudity and brief drug use. Runtime is 2 hours 12 minutes.
