The Strawberry Festival is held at the Chassell Township Park each year on the Friday and Saturday following the 4th of July (except in years where the 4th falls on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday in which case it is held on the following weekend).
A fun event for all, it includes a children's parade and a full parade, live music, a queen competition, a craft/vendor show, children's games, fish boil and other food options and best of all -- the famous Strawberry Shortcake!
Schedule of Events:
7:00 AM – 10:00 AM Breakfast – Chassell School by Chassell High School Student Group
8:00 AM “Fun Run” - Starts at Chassell School - Check-in & Registration 7:00 AM
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Serving Strawberry Shortcake, Brats, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, (or until Sold Out) Cheeseburgers, Fresh Cut French Fries, Cotton Candy, Pop/Soda
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Exhibits & Sales of Arts and Crafts
11:00 AM Strawberry Festival Parade (Registration 9:30-10:30 AM - No Entry Fees)
