Ann Arbors Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
Ann Arbor's only Memorial Day parade is back!
Come out for the parade, food trucks, and a ceremony to honor fallen servicewomen and men. Kids come join the parade and decorate your bikes, wagons, strollers, etc. Prizes for kids will be awarded for most patriotic decor!
Schedule:
9:15 am: Streets barricaded: remove cars from parade route
9:30 am: Parade participants can line up starting at Greenbrier Park - 3705 Frederick Drive.
10: 00 am: Parade Begins
10:30 am: Parade Ends at Glacier Highlands Park
10:40 am: Memorial Service honoring fallen servicemembers in Glacier Highlands Park
11:00 am: Donuts, coffee and food available for purchase from food trucks: Tacos El Mariachi Loco,
PB&J BBQ, and Kona Ice!
We will have supplies and a table to write a thank you note to a vet, which we will mail on your behalf following the event.
Kids have a blast playing in the park too.
As is tradition, the Ann Arbor Fire Department will be there with a fire truck to display the giant American flag!
