Join us for the annual Fourth of July Parade in downtown Ann Arbor on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 10am. Each year, the Ann Arbor Fourth of July Parade draws a crowd of thousands to witness the spectacular floats, bands, and individuals walking the streets to celebrate the independence of our nation. Community members, government leaders, representatives, and government appointees lead and participate in the parade. In addition, community groups, clowns, bands, and children march in the parade. A grand marshal is selected and they will lead the parade after the beginning banner. This event is completely FREE and great for adults and children alike to come celebrate not only our nations' founding, but also the 200th anniversary of the founding of the city of Ann Arbor! This year the firetruck Spray park returns, so head over to Maynard street to cool off after the parade.
