Agent Orange Awareness 5K

It is with great excitement that we announce the opening of registration for this year’s Agent Orange Awareness 5K Run/Walk in Cherry Hill Village, presented by Jacob Matthew Jewelers. The race date has been set for Saturday, August 24, at 9:00am, with a 1/4 Mile Fun Run taking place 30-minutes prior at 8:30am. As with last year, a virtual race option is also available for those who would like to participate on their own time or from another location. The race will start and finish at the Village Arts Factory at 50755 Cherry Hill Road in Canton, Michigan.

Every registrant, virtual or in-person, will receive a beautiful finisher medal as part of their registration. Participants will also have the option to purchase an official race t-shirt or tank top through the online registration portal.

Any children (or the young at heart!) who are interested in participating in the 1/4 Mile Fun Run can participate by bringing a simple donation of name-brand travel size toiletries, crayons and coloring books, or a $5 Kroger gift card. Likewise, we’ll have pre-assembled donation packs you can purchase on race day for just $5. No pre-registration is needed for the Fun Run.

We hope you’ll join us on August 24 for a beautiful 5K race while helping us raise awareness of the lingering effects of Agent Orange and supporting the incredible work of the VA Ann Arbor Fisher House! This is a beautiful community event for a great cause and we’re thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity again this summer.
