Adult Class: Build Box

Participants will construct a 6″x6″x3″ box using clay slabs. Once the box is completed and bisque fired, each participant will apply glaze to decorate the box.

About the Instructor:

Jack Short studied ceramics at Ohio University and worked as a studio potter. He has experience with hand building and wheel throwing, with an emphasis on constructing functional wear like mugs and bowls.

This is a multi-day class for adults (ages 18+).

Registration for Non-members will open June 5 at 10 am.

Boxes will be fired and can be picked up July 17-20 during museum open hours (W-S, 12-5 pm).
