This year the 14th Annual South Portland Food Cupboard and St. Maximilian Kolbe 5K Road Race and Free Kids Fun Run will be on Saturday August 24, 2024. Over the years, this race has raised thousands of dollars for the Food Cupboard which feeds hundreds of families in South Portland and Scarborough. Last year, the race raised over $6,000 for the Food Cupboard which provided 240 families with food for a whole month! Our goal is to raise the same amount or more to help the Food Cupboard. THE FOOD CUPBOARD NEEDS YOU TO SIGN-UP AND RUN THE RACE!!! All entry fees will go directly to the Food Cupboard. This is a wonderful cause to support and have fun running with us on Saturday August 24, 2024. The entry fee of $30 will buy enough food to feed a family for one month!!!
NEW RACE COURSE THIS YEAR
The race will occur on Saturday August 24, 2024 at St. Max Church (150 Black Point Road in Scarborough Maine). The kids fun-run will start at 8:30am and the 5K Run/Walk will start at 9am. Online race registration will start on July 8th and race day registration will start at 7:30am on August 24th. Prizes will be given to the 1st and 2nd male and female finishers on August 24th after the race. Medals will be awarded to male and female age group winners.

Day-of registration at the race on August 24th starts at 7:30am and is $35.
Race T-shirt is included with the $30 fee if you register before Thursday August 15th. The race shirt will be very similar to last year's shirt and will feature sponsor logos!
No dogs allowed at the race. Service animals are allowed.
