In Ingmar Bergman’s The Seventh Seal, a knight plays a game of chess against Death. In Tuesday, director Daina Oniunas-Pusić’s remarkable new film, mother Zora takes on a shape-shifting, talking parrot-like bird, a very different version of Death, bartering to save her terminally-ill daughter Tuesday’s life.
