Eastport 4th of July Festival

Eastport, Maine is home to the largest 4th of July Festival in the state of Maine. Come celebrate the beauty of this land in this historic port city on the Atlantic Ocean.

Schedule of Events

10:00am: Opening of Craft Fair and Vendors
1:00 pm: Frisbee Contest. Library Lawn.
1:30 pm: Limbo Contest. Library Lawn.
3:00 pm: Bike Races. Starts half-way down Deep Cove Road and end at the Fire Station. Trike and ages 2-4 in parking lot.
7:30-10 pm: Street Dance. Family friendly music to kick off our celebration! Overlook Park. Sponsored by First National Bank.

10:00-4:00 pm:
Scavenger Hunt. Find one of our 4th of July rocks and turn it in at Sweeties Downeast to receive a $10 gift card! Sponsored by Sweeties Downeast. Tides Institute & Museum of Art Exhibition: Pauline Inman: Downeast Wood Engravings. TIMA main building, 43 Water Street. During 4th schedule, look for opportunities for tintype portraits by photographer, Karen Stentaford, Studioworks, 48 Water Street. Be sure to visit all the local shops and restaurants to see all the fun events they have planned!
